Brief Biography

Dr. Samuel Ataribanam is a Lecturer with expertise in Accounting, Business Administration, Corporate Governance, Business Ethics, and Computerized Accounting. He has over 11 years of experience teaching at the tertiary level and over 10 years of experience in industry.

Dr. Ataribanam has taught on both full-time and part-time bases at various tertiary institutions in Ghana, including Bolgatanga Technical University, Millar Institute for Transdisciplinary and Development Studies (MITDS), the University of Cape Coast College of Distance Education, and the University of Education, Winneba College for Distance and e-Learning.

He obtained a BSc in Accounting with Computing with First Class Honours from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, in 2010. He subsequently obtained an MBA in Accounting (by Research) from KNUST in 2013. In 2021, he obtained a PhD in Culture and Development Studies from the University for Development Studies (UDS), Tamale, specializing in Corporate Governance and Ethics. He further pursued and obtained a second PhD in Accounting from LIUTEBM University, Lusaka, Zambia, in 2025.

In addition to his academic and professional activities, Dr. Ataribanam serves as a Board Chairman, facilitator, consultant, and motivational speaker with Reality Maker Ltd and WILFIN Foundation in Bolgatanga.
